SUMMER IS HERE!!!
It’s hot, for us and for our cars as well. The extra demands that summer puts on us, are on our cars as well.
When we service our customers cars, we always check the belts, hoses, all fluids and tire pressure and generally look the vehicle over to make sure there are no issues that need attention. During the summer months we pay close attention to the cooling system and air condition system, to make sure they are in peak operating condition.
- Is the cooling fan cycling on and off at the proper temperature?
- Is the a/c compressor cycling more often than necessary, indicating the a/c system might be low on freon?
- Is the a/c drain working properly, allowing water to drain off the evaporator and related lines?
These are all things we look closely at during summer driving season.
