The extreme heat that we have experienced so far this summer can raise havoc on your vehicle. We have had a number of vehicles with overheating problems directly related to the stresses of summer driving.
Most of these are preventable with a little up front maintenance.
In particular, the cooling system, after about 5 years, original equipment hoses start to turn brittle, some coolants start to lose their effectiveness and we have seen a number of times this summer when things like a thermostat will stick and cause an overheating problem.
A few minutes of checking beforehand can
